Marble caulking

The marble as a material has a significant element of thermal expansion coefficient. Technically the choice of using joints is more suitable and provides longest lasting construction. The joints between marble tiles should have at least 2mm width, especially in external flooring where temperature changes are greater, so that the dilation of floor slab is possible without the danger of detachment from the sub layer. Then floor screed stability depends upon good caulking-sealing of marbles.
